Many components are local, which means the logistics and supply chain are well established.

Their absence is a minus.
There was a case: they found a seemingly decent manufacturer in Henan. The prices are good, they sent a video of the workshop. Ordered two test onesmini baler. They arrived and started running in. After 15 hours of work, the shaft in the pressing chamber began to leak. A small thing, but unpleasant. We disassembled it - it turned out that the wrong type of oil seal was installed, for lower loads. The plant, of course, sent new ones, but simple equipment is a loss.
Hence the conclusion: when requesting documentation, you need to ask not only about the main components, but also about “consumables”: bearings, oil seals, belts. What brands? Is it possible to supply more reliable ones for an additional fee? This shows an attitude towards quality.
Another important point is the availability of a spare parts warehouse. Ideally, the plant has a basic set of spare parts (knives, pins, bearings) in its warehouse, which can be purchased and shipped along with the equipment. This will save months in the future.
So, in short. Search not just on the Internet, but through industry resources, pay attention to the region (Shandong is excellent). Let the first filter be the willingness to show production in real time. The second is technical literacy in dialogue. The third is flexibility and export experience.
Don't chase the lowest price. The difference of 10-15% often lies in the quality of steel, the assembly of hydraulic lines and, ultimately, in the service life of the machine.
